The Wavy Revisited lampshade is defined by a succession of geometric waves—a repetitive, hypnotic pattern that sculptures the light. It is the lampshade that "breaks up" the light the most. So, if you have an ugly bulb that you don't want to change, this one is made for you. It would be capable of soothing the atmosphere of a hospital room or a cafeteria in an instant. Pair it with a vintage filament bulb, offering warm light and low intensity, to accentuate the relief of its walls… and it will be even more beautiful. I always recommend placing it on an antique lamp base to create an elegant visual contrast.
A bit of math and repetition
The design of the Wavy Revisited is a tribute to the most fascinating aspect of 3D printing: mathematical precision at the service of emotion. This perfectly regular, undulating rhythm belongs to the realm of so-called "impossible geometry." It is a complex architecture of light, unachievable through traditional methods, born from a fusion of creative engineering and pure aesthetics.

Made using the spiral printing technique (like all the other lampshades I offer and will offer), the piece is printed in a single continuous line. This process eliminates any visible seams or "seams," resulting in a perfectly smooth and uniform finish. However, it does impose strict physical constraints, particularly regarding printing angles. The strength of this design lies precisely in this challenge: the very complexity of the spiral provides the structural support necessary to achieve extreme angles in single-line printing.
Choose your finish
Beyond the choice of color, which varies depending on the material available at home, two nozzle diameters are offered. Each influences the visual identity of the lampshade.
0.8 mm nozzle — Textured (heavier)
This option uses a thicker filament, making the printing layers intentionally visible and textured. It gives the lamp a strong presence, creating a striking interplay of light and shadow.
0.4 mm nozzle — Refined (lighter)
This option creates extremely (really extremely) thin layers. The texture becomes subtle, the surface smooth and elegant, evoking the look of frosted glass. Light diffusion is more homogeneous and soft.

- Quarter turn locking : once the support is in place, the lampshade can be easily changed with a simple locking movement.
- Premium material & usage recommendations : Made from high-quality, heat-resistant polymers (up to approximately 80°C) with optimal durability. The use of traditional or "old-fashioned" incandescent light bulbs is strongly discouraged: the heat they emit can damage or deform the 3D printed material.
